Assassin's Creed Valhalla with Influencers
The Concept
The launch of Assassin's Creed Valhalla was preceded by a special Viking-themed online quiz. The questions were co-written by an assistant professor from ELTE's Department of Scandinavian Languages and Literatures, an expert in the field, while popular online content creators presented the completed quiz to their audiences. The objective was to maximize interest in the game before its release and build excited anticipation within the gaming community by creating innovative content alongside traditional video game showcases.
Unique Content in an Entertaining Format
Viewers followed as their favorite video creators tested their knowledge of Viking culture, which not only generated outstanding viewership for the participating influencers but also extremely positive community reactions. In addition to Unfield and Szalay Isti, comedian Dániel Mogács and AZA, the rapper from Killakikitt, also joined the campaign.
Effective Sponsorship Communication
Following the game's release, content creators also shared gameplay videos on their channels, allowing the audience to experience the world of Valhalla firsthand. During this phase of the campaign, the gaming community was successfully mobilized, and leading Hungarian influencers also joined the project, including TheVR, Pingvinharcos, VideojátékZsolti, Bturbo, Funwithgeeks, and Icebluebird.
High Reach Numbers
The campaign generated strong interest and creatively supported the game's introduction to the Hungarian market. The quiz had already sparked curiosity about the Viking world, which was further amplified by additional content organized around the release. Assassin's Creed Valhalla became the most popular and best-selling installment in the series in Hungary.
